The story behind Private Clinic Norfolk begins long before the clinic opened its doors in Gorleston. It’s a personal journey — one driven by a deep commitment to improving patient care.
I first trained and practised as a registered pharmacist in Bangladesh, where I began my career in Quality Assurance at Novartis Pharma, later moving into pharmaceutical marketing. These early roles gave me valuable insights into both the clinical and commercial aspects of healthcare — but I knew I wanted more.
I wanted to work directly with patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
That mission brought me to the UK, where I completed my pharmacy degree at Brighton University and qualified as a UK-registered pharmacist. Over the years, I worked in both hospital and community pharmacy settings, gaining extensive hands-on experience.
But I kept seeing the same issue: patients struggled to access timely, flexible, and local healthcare. Whether it was waiting weeks for an NHS appointment or not knowing where to turn for minor but important treatments, many felt stuck.
So I decided to change that.
In 2019, I launched OnlineChemist, an online platform providing regulated private pharmacy services to patients across the UK. Its success — and the growing demand for in-person care — led to the creation of Private Clinic Norfolk, a local, walk-in clinic designed to bring high-quality private services directly to our community.
We’re located inside OnlineChemist at 82 Middleton Road, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 7AH, serving patients from Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Caister, Lowestoft, and the wider Norfolk and Suffolk area.
